San Diego Eats

This past weekend, I went to San Diego to visit some family. As is the case when my family gets together, lots of eating and drinking ensued.

We visited Liberty Market, a venue similar to Grand Central Market where we indulged in some fresh, locally caught seafood at Fishbone Kitchen. We ordered a mixed Poke (seaweed salad with tuna and salmon), Kussi oysters from Washinghton, and uni (sea urchin) that was so fresh the needles on the body were still moving.

We finished our trip to Liberty Market off with a visit to Stone Brewery, where we shared tasting flights of all the beers they made on site.

The last meal my family had together was brunch at Stella. There we had mimosa tasting flights and avocado toast.

Nom nom.
