Floating in the Hudson River just north of Ellis Island you’ll find the Manhattan Yacht Club‘s floating clubhouse, affectionately called Willy’s Wall. Open to both club members and guests, Willy’s Wall is a wonderful place to have drinks while watching the sunset, sail boat races, or just admiring the beautiful Manhattan skyline.

While getting to Willy’s Wall can be a bit tedious (you have to take a ferry, and then a Manhattan Yacht Club shuttle boat), once you’re there it’s a great place to have drinks with friends after work. It’s also a great way to test how sea worthy you and your friends are, especially if you’re a girl wearing heels.
