Estiatorio Milos

What’s better than fresh fish. It’s one of my favorite things about Greek and Mediterranean food. Estiatorio Milos is a Mediterranean restaurant that excels a serving exceptionally fresh fish. With a “fish market” in their actual restaurant, you can pick your fish and have it prepared on the spot. Most of the fish is so fresh you can eat it sashimi style.

While dining there my friends and I enjoyed fresh scallops, emperor fish, along with their signature fried zucchini chips, a greek salad and fresh berries with greek yogurt and honey for dessert. The raw scallops were simply prepared with just a little squeeze of lemon juice. Even with the little squeeze of lemon the scallops were sweet. The zucchini chips were lightly battered and fried and served with tahini sauce, an excellent course between the scallops and emperor fish. The emperor fish was served sashimi style two ways. One side was prepared with fresh thyme, the other with micro basil. After the sublime emperor fish sashimi we had a traditional Greek salad. We finally finished with fresh berries with Greek yogurt and honey.

While the food was phenomenal, my favorite part by far was having a wonderful evening with my friends at Status Luxury Group, and picking out our dinner in the “fish market”.
